About Utility Conservation Services
Utility Conservation Services (UCS) has been helping homeowners throughout California save money through energy conservation for more than 30 years.
In the late 1970s, we recognized a desire many homeowners had to save energy and lower their utility bills. However, many of them were prevented by the high cost of these services and products, the difficulty of attaining good financing, and the often daunting task of finding a quality contractor.
That’s why we started Utility Conservation Services, to act as a liaison between homeowners and utility districts and to help homeowners increase the energy-efficiency level of their home and lower their utility bills each month.
By working directly with utility districts like SMUD, PG&E, Edison, So Cal Gas, TU Electric (Texas), Portland Gas and Electric, and others with energy efficiency programs, UCS is able to provide its customers with the maximum number of rebates possible, coupled with the best financing available and reliable, quality contractors.
