Solar Panels As gas and electric energy costs continue to skyrocket – with no end in sight – many homeowners are turning to solar systems to help reduce or eliminate their monthly electric bill.

Unlike other companies, UCS is the only firm we know of that provides customers with pre-approved financing for purchase of solar equipment. That way, when considering purchasing a system of their own, they know how much they’ll be saving through rebates and tax credits, and the approximate amount of their monthly payments.

While the payback period for solar energy systems depends on the type of equipment purchased, amount of energy used in a particular season, size of the rooftop space, and other factors, once the system has paid for itself in savings on monthly utility bills, it produces free electricity thereafter.

As an added benefit, solar electric systems increase the resale value of a home.

A solar electric system is also good for the environment.

For every 1000kWh of electricity generated by a solar system:

•	1 ton (2000#) of Carbon Dioxide (C02) is not emitted into the atmosphere
•	1000# of coal does not need to be mined
•	700 gallons of water is saved
•	Nitrous Oxide (NO) and Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) are not emitted into the atmosphere
